CISF Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for CISF Constable/Tradesman 2025:

For Skilled Trades – Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board for skilled trades on or before closing date of receipt of online Application Form. (i.e. Barber, Boot Maker/Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washer Man, Welder, Electrician and Motor Pump Attendant). Preferred personnel will be those trained by the Industrial Training Institute.

For Unskilled Trades – Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board for unskilled trades on or before closing date of receipt of online Application Form (i.e. Sweeper). (Educational certificates other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notifications declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matriculation/10th class pass for service under Central Government.

Age Limit for CISF Constable/Tradesman 2025: (As on 01.08.2025)

Age Limit: Between 18 to 23 years as on 01/08/2025 Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/08/2002 and later than 01/08/2007.

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years

For OBC Applicants: 3 years

For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy
