Indian Army Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for Indian Army Agniveer 2025:
1. Agniveer (General Duty) –
Education Qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following the grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered.
Note: For Driver Criteria, preference will be given to Applicants who possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license.
Education Qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following the grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered.

2. Agniveer (Technical) –
Education Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Class Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 40% (Forty Percentage) in each subject. OR 10+2 /Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above. OR 10th/Matric pass with 50% (Fifty Percentage) in aggregate and minimum 40% (Forty Percentage) in English, Maths and Science with 02 years of Technical Training from ITI or two/three years Diploma from recognised educational institution including polytechnics in following streams only :-
(i) Electronic Mechanic
(ii) Mechanic Diesel
(iii) Mechanic Motor Vehicle
(iv) Technician Power Electronic Systems
(v) Electrician
(vi) Fitter
(vii) Instrument Mechanic

3. Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) –Education Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% (Fifty Five Percentage) in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XII (+2) is mandatory.
4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th pass –Education Qualification: Simple 10th pass (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in five basic subjects).
5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th pass –Education Qualification: Simple 8th pass (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in five basic subjects).
Age Limit for Indian Army Agniveer 2025:
1. Agniveer (General Duty) – 17½- 21 Yrs
2. Agniveer (Technical) – 17½- 21 Yrs
3. Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) – 17½- 21 Yrs
4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th pass – 17½- 21 Yrs
5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th pass – 17½- 21 Yrs
Note: Candidates born between 01 Oct 2004 to 01 April 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

1. Phase – I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE), Typing Test for Agniveer Clerk /Store Keeper Technical
2. Phase – II: Documentation, Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site), Physical Measurement Test (At Rally Site), Adaptability Test and Medical Examination
